How to change Apple Logo in Login Screen

- Hit Shift+G command
- In "Go to folder" type the following path
/System/Library/CoreServices/SecurityAgent.app/Contents/Resources/ - After pressing Enter, A new directory will open
- In this directory you will find a file i.e. applelogo.tif.
- Just create the backup of this file on the desktop
- finally rename the custom tif logo and then move it to the same Resource/folder
Restart your system, you will get new logo at the time of login. If you want to revert the changes then follow the above mentioned step. Replace the new logo with original logo i.e. applelogo.tif which had backed up.
For 10.5 Leopard user
The overall step is exactly same but second steps will slightly differ. In leopard you have to type following Path:
/System/Library/CoreServices/SecurityAgentPlgins/loginwindow.bundle/Contents/Resources
Change Login Screen Background Image in 10.4 or its previous version
Follow the below mentioned guidelines to change the login screen background:
- Open "Go To Folder" by pressing Shift+G
- Type following location
/library/Desktop Pictures/ - Locate Aqua Blue.jpg file and just rename it to Aqua Blue2.jpg
- Place the image which you want to be displayed as a login screen background
- Rename it Aqua Blue.jpg
Finally close the directory and log out. Reboot your system. Now at the time of login you will get new image as a background.
